Blast furnace top seal valve shares the same purpose as upper sealing valve, which is also installed inside the receiving hopper.
Top seal valve is driven by two hydraulic cylinders, one for the fastening and loosening, and the other for the rotary of the valve plates. The design well prevents the materials from highly piling up, and enables a small occupy of the furnace top.
