Types of blast furnace charging equipment
All of the blast furnace charging equipment adopt modular standard unit overlaying structure, and the structure facilitates replacement and installation. Our blast furnace charging equipment have standard structure or compact structure. The structure can also be arranged according to users' needs.

Compact structure
Application: Compact structure is suitable for 200-1000-cubic-meter blast furnace. The compact structure can be installed on the blast furnace bell top charging equipment. The compact structure can be installed to the lowest position of the blast furnace.

1. The traditional blast furnace bell top charging equipment uses two bells, one is small and the other is big. It completes charging of the raw materials with pressure through the alternative switch of the upper and lower bells. The raw materials flow into the upper or small bell which then opens to empty the charge into the large bell. The small bell then closes, to seal the blast furnace, while the large bell rotates to provide specific distribution of materials before dispensing the charge into the blast furnace. The bells have large dimensions and heavy weight. The materials pass through the bells, leading to erosion of the bells and gas leakage, which cannot be repaired. Therefore, traditional blast furnace bell top charging equipment is suitable for furnace pressure of 0.08MPa below. The smelting pressure of new blast furnace reaches the maximum pressure of 0.25MPa, and the traditional blast furnace with two bells cannot meet the requirements.
2. Blast furnace charging equipment removes the bells. It divides material flow regulating gate valve and sealing valve separately. The overall dimension is reduced. The blast furnace charging equipment is easy to maintain and replace. It can be maintained within a short time. The equipment uses rotary distributing chute to distribute the raw materials to any position of the blast furnace with a furnace top pressure up to 0.25 MPa. Blast furnace charging equipment is a preferred device for smelting.
1. Receiving hopper is empty, and the stop valve is closed. According to material selection process, the feeding machine or transmission belt conveys materials to the top of the blast furnace and charges the materials into receiving hopper. When it charges enough materials, the system releases a signal to stop feeding.
2. Material bins are empty. Material flow regulating gate valve and lower sealing valve are closed. Users need to open the relief valve and reduces the pressure inside the material bin to the same level of atmospheric pressure. The corresponding signal is released to show that the material bins should be ready for receiving materials.
3. Upper sealing valve and stop valve are opened. Materials in the receiving hopper flow into material bins. When the receiving hopper is empty, stop valve is closed. A signal is released to show that feeding system should be ready for feeding. (Step 1 can be continued)
4. When the material stock level reaches the set value, the stock rod is lifted up to the upper extreme limit. Sealing valve and relief valve are closed. When the signal showing that upper sealing valve is closed is released, αis turned to the initial position and βis turned as regularly. Users do not necessarily need to wait until it turns to the specified position before moving to next step.
5. The first equalizing valve is opened. Material bin is pressurized by half-cleaned gas to a stable pressure. First equalizing valve is closed, and second equalizing valve is opened. When the pressure in material bin is the same as pressure in blast furnace, or slightly higher, lower sealing valve is opened.
6. After the signal showing opening of lower sealing valve is released, β is rotated to the set position, and α is at the position of preselected angle. Material flow regulating gate valve is opened and turned to the preset angle (γ). Second equalizing valve is closed.
7. In the discharging process, αis driven according to the requirements for material distributing. The initial angle ofβis the starting point of the number of turns. Each turn is 360°.
8. The material bins are empty (5 seconds delay). Material flow regulating gate valve and lower sealing valve are closed. When the signal showing the closing of the two valves are released, αstops rotating. Stock rod is released and material distributing ends. (Continue step 2, and material bins are ready for receiving materials)

The five distribution methods include annular distribution, spiral distribution, circular sector distribution, distribution of fixed point and central coke charging. The materials are distributed to any area of furnace throat section to stabilize the furnace, extend service life of furnace and improve production capacity.
2. Blast furnace charging equipment features good sealing performance. The small sealing valve reduces sealing area and improves the sealing effects. The sealing valves adapt to the long-term high-pressure operation of blast furnace. It is easy to maintain and replace, which is better than the sealing valves of bell top charging system.
3. Blast furnace charging equipment is easy to maintain. It can be maintained within 8 hours.
4. Coke ratio is reduced and production capacity is improved. With the same material and under the same operation, blast furnace charging equipment achieves reduction of coke ratio as well as high efficiency of smelting. It is energy-saving.
